Bring A Trailer is offering two beautiful Porsche examples, a 2016 Porsche Cayman GT4 and a 1964 Porsche 356C Coupe.
2016 Porsche Cayman GT4
This 2016 Porsche Cayman GT4 was acquired back in December 2015 from Champion Porsche of Pompano Beach, Florida.
Exterior features include a white finish and GT4-specific front and rear fascias, fixed rear spoiler, and GT4-stamped side vents. It has dual central exhaust tips, LED daytime running lights, and xenon headlights in black with the Porsche Dynamic Light System.
245/35 front and 295/30 rear Dunlop Sport Maxx Race tires are wrapped around factory 20-inch GT4 light-alloy wheels. Four-wheel cross-drilled discs with Porsche-branded calipers gives the example its braking power.
For the interior, it has an 18-way adaptive sport seats trimmed in black leather with Alcantara inserts and Platinum Grey stitching matched with Guards Red seatbelts and carbon-fiber trim. Comfort features include a dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control Sport Chrono package, fire extinguisher, and Porsche Communication Management with navigation.
The steering wheel is also wrapped in Alcantara and frames a central tachometer, a configuarable display screen, and a 200-mph speedometer. The odometers shows a really love mileage of 647 miles.
Powering the Cayman is a 3.8-liter flat-six engine mounted under the rear cargo area, rated at 385 hp and 3.9 lb-ft of torque when new. The example was given an optional extended-range 16.9-gallon fuel tank. A six-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential sends power to the rear wheels, it comes with a factory Sport exhaust system as standard.
Last service done on the example was an oil change that was performed back in July 2020. The Carfax report on the example shows an open manufacturer safety recall released in September 2019 due to the airbag control unit. No accident or damage is recorded in the Carfax report, and it shows a history in Florida, Kentucky, and Massachusetts.
As of writing, the low mileage 2016 Porsche Cayman GT4 has a bid of $90,500 which will end on April 25.
1964 Porsche 356C Coupe
This 1964 Porsche 356C Coupe has a factory finish in Light Ivory (6404) and during previous ownership was repainted in white. Exterior features include a Talbot Berlin-style mirror placed on the driver-side fender, twin-engine grilles, body-color bumpers, retractable antenna, dual exhaust outlets with chrome finishers that comes out through the rear overriders. There currently is a small paint chip on the front bumper.
165/80 Classic Radial LL800 tires are wrapped around 15-inch steel wheels with Porsche-crest chrome hubcaps that bear some scratches. The front trunk houses a full-size spare.
All four corners have discs that provide the stopping power of the example. Records on the example show that in 2019, the axle boots were replaced and in April 2022, it was the brake hoses that were replaced. There’s also an invoice that shows that the right-front shock is binding, the front sway bar bushings are worn, and that the king pins show wear.
For the interior, the front bucket seats were reupholstered and given black leather during current ownership, with the rear seats getting a vinyl trim. Interior features include a Blaupunkt three-band radio wired to speakers in the kick panels, salt and pepper squareweave carpets, heater, VDO analog clock, and a locking glove compartment.
Some works were done in the interior during the current ownership including replacement of the dash pad, tightening the ignition switch, a left window handle repair, and the replacement of the shifter coupler bushings. It should be noted that there are some signs of yellowing on the headliner and a couple of tears can also be seen near the rear window. The back of the rear seats also show some stains.
A three-spoke steering wheel frames the instrumentation which include a central 6k-rpm tachometer, a 120-mph speedometer, and gauges that shows oil temperature and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows an 82k mileage with roughly 3k of that was added by the current consigner. The real total mileage is unknown.
Powering the example is a 1.6-liter flat-four engine that was rebuilt by Jack Morris of Greenacres, Washington in April 2022. He used JE Pistons with Durabar cylinders and an Airflow Systems oil cooler. Other work done included the replacement of the rod and main bearing sets, re-grinding of the camshaft, and hard-welding the rocker arms. In 2019, the battery and generator were replaced.
A four-speed manual transaxle sends power to the rear wheels and in April 2022, it was resealed. At the same time, they also replaced the operating fork, clutch, clutch cable, as well as the release bearing. Even the muffler and heat exhcangers were replaced.
It should be noted that the engine block stamp showing *712743* is a match to the number shown on the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. The certificate also shows the production date, original factory colors, and serial numbers of the example.
As of writing, the 1964 Porsche 356C Coupe has a bid of $40,000 with the bid ending on April 24.
