This stunning 1989 Carrera 3.8L is a modified Porsche that has been “backdated” to incorporate classic 911 styling with modern mechanical upgrades. The exterior has been custom painted in a matte gray finish with new steel hood, front fenders, wheel arches, and bumpers.
The headlights have been swapped for 356 sloped-glass units, while the mirrors, door handles, and grilles have also been upgraded. The car rides on 15-inch Fifteen52 Outlaw 003 wheels wrapped in Michelin TB15 tires.
Under the hood, a modified flat-six engine from a Porsche 964 has been bored to 3.8 liters and features a GT3 rotating assembly, titanium connecting rods, aftermarket throttle bodies, and a new ECU. The engine has been paired with a five-speed manual transaxle that has been upgraded with new ring and pinion bearings, synchros, and a Wavetrac limited-slip differential.
