With a limited production of just 500 units worldwide, the 991.2-generation Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series lives up to its new moniker. With an MSRP of $257,500 USD, an ‘entry-level’ Exclusive Series doesn’t cost much more than a fully-loaded Turbo S. However, if Economics 101 has taught us anything, it is that its scarcity alone will mean that this car will fetch well above that price, particularly in the indirect sales market.
At its core, the Turbo S features a higher-output, 3.8L twin-turbocharged flat 6-cylinder engine, delivering 607 HP through its 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. This results in an impressive 0-60 MPH time of just 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 205 MPH.
Externally, the Exclusive Series stands out with its aero kit, carbon fiber weave racing stripes, special 20-inch wheels, and distinctive badging. The exterior design of the Exclusive Series definitely stands out. Most noticeable at first glance is the Golden Yellow Metallic paint job and accentuating carbon-weave racing stripes, which are available only on these 500 cars. The Exclusive Series can be offered in ‘other select exterior colors’ by request.
The interior of the Exclusive Series is the beneficiary of the same treatment received by the rest of the car. Inside, the black leather interior is highlighted by two Golden Yellow stripes, woven with fine copper threading for a unique sheen.
Additional features include carbon fiber and leather interior components, AM/FM stereo with SiriusXM radio, power windows, locks, and mirrors, voice control, Porsche entry and drive, and a luggage net in the passenger footwell. This version stands as the most exclusive iteration of the world’s premier sports car.
