This special edition was manufactured in a limited series of just 25 units worldwide, with the specific purpose of commemorating the historic 2015 Porsche Rennsport Reunion V event held at California’s Laguna Seca Raceway.
The concept of the Rennsport Reunion was conceived by Bob Carlsen, the former head of media relations for Porsche North America, and former Porsche factory driver Brian Redman. It was designed as an event tailored to Porsche enthusiasts, celebrating the brand’s most iconic road and race cars. This event has been organized six times since its inception in 2001.
Based on the 911 Carrera GTS, each of the 25 Rennsport Reunion Edition models left the factory sporting Fashion Grey paint, a custom Paint to Sample color with roots dating back to the original 356. Additionally, the car features black and red stripes and is equipped with gloss black 20-inch Sport Classic wheels.
Inside the vehicle, you’ll find illuminated carbon fiber door sills bearing the Rennsport Reunion identification, the GTS interior package with red stitching, rear ParkAssist, 18-way adjustable sports seats, a red tachometer, Sport Design steering wheel, an Alcantara-clad shift knob, the Sport Chrono package, navigation, a Bose audio package, and more.
Power is delivered by a naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine, producing a robust 430 horsepower. This power is channeled to the rear wheels through an engaging 7-speed manual transmission, allowing the driver to have full control and achieving a 0-60 mph time of approximately 4.2 seconds.
