When Tesla introduced the Cybertruck, they also shared a video featuring the electric pickup drag racing a Porsche 911 while towing another Porsche 911. The Cybertruck won that race but the said victory has been the subject of numerous debates.
Thanks to the folks at Throttle House, we finally got to see the true performance capabilities of the Tesla Cybertruck as it drag races one of the quickest-accelerating cars in the market today: the Porsche 911 Turbo S.
The Porsche 911 Turbo S boasts 640 horsepower from its 3.7-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine, powering all four wheels. Porsche claims it can accelerate to 60 mph in 2.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 205 mph. In comparison, the Tesla Cybertruck, particularly in its 845-hp Cyberbeast configuration, also lists a 60-mph time of the same duration, however its top speed is limited to only 130 mph.
The result? You’ll have to watch the video to find out!
