Singer Vehicle Design – Kent Commission
Today, we take a closer look at the Singer Vehicle Designs Kent Commission. The Kent Commission Singer is a 4.0L, Right Hand Drive coupe, with a Graphite Grey exterior, with light ghosted side stripes and Blood Red lettering. Wheels are specified with closed lug nuts and wear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Behind them sit carbon ceramic brakes, with calipers specified in Blood Red with white lettering. At the rear of the car, bumperettes are specified with a nickel finish, while the engine cover features lettering in Blood Red and brass badging. External fuel and oil fillers are also clear in the photos.
The interior of this Porsche 911 reimagined by Singer is trimmed in Monarch Red with bespoke houndstooth seat centers. The owner of this car has specified lightweight, carbon fiber track seats. These are trimmed in Monarch Red, with bespoke, houndstooth seat centers, and seat backs in piano black. Leather continues along the dash strip, complemented by brass badging, and is also specified on the interior door panels. The sills and lower surfaces in the rear compartment are carpeted and alabaster stitching is used throughout. Early 911 gauges are selected, with green markings on a black background.
At the heart of the Kent commission is a 4.0L, naturally-aspirated, air-cooled flat-six. The engine is specified with a ceramic plenum finish and drives the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual gearbox. Internally, the engine bay is completed with diamond-quilted leather in Blood Red, matched to the car’s interior. Externally the engine cover features 4.0L badging on the speed-activated rear spoiler and lettering in Blood Red on the rear engine cover.
