Singer Vehicle Design unveiled the DLS-T (”Dynamics and Lightweighting Study” – Turbo) at the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed and it quickly gained a lot of attention from spectators at the event.
This restomod pays homage to Porsche’s victorious 934/5 endurance race car from the late 1970s and, in Singer tradition, offers restoration services for enthusiasts owning the Type 964 air-cooled 911. The DLS-Turbo boasts a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six with electric wastegates, air-to-water intercooling, and an electrically powered fan, delivering over 700 hp at more than 9,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Buyers can choose between two aero configurations: road or track-focused. The DLS-T includes a high-downforce rear wing with an adjustable upper element and a track-oriented front fascia with a larger splitter for the track version. The road version features an aero-optimized rear ducktail spoiler and a road-oriented front fascia to reduce drag.
