Carwow’s YouTube channel hosted yet another interesting drag race involving three cars from different classes.
First up was the Porsche 911 Turbo S, renowned for its all-wheel drive system efficiently transferring power to the road. With 650 hp derived from its 3.8-liter twin-turbo boxer engine, and coupled with an excellent gearbox, the car showcased exceptional starting performance.
The Audi TT followed, having undergone significant modifications. Though capable of producing 1,300 hp, it raced with a lower turbo pressure setting, resulting in 950 hp. The car featured a manual transmission and, like the Porsche, boasted all-wheel drive.
Lastly, the Koenigsegg Agera RST, a hypercar with a 1,360 hp 5.0-liter V8 engine generating an impressive 1,570 Nm of torque, but this power output required using ethanol racing fuel. With regular gasoline, it still produced around 1,100 hp, justifying its hefty price tag of 3.5 million pounds. However, the Koenigsegg directed all its power solely to the rear axle.
Just by looking at the numbers, one might predict that the Koenigsegg would win, followed by the Audi, and the Porsche finishing last. Anyways, just watch the video to see the actual winner of this drag race.
